Carolyn Paris new Chairperson
Carolyn Paris has been elected Chair of the Boone County Historical Society’s Endowment Trust board for 2019. The BCHS Endowment Trust produces the annual Boone County Hall of Fame Enshrinement Gala each autumn. In 2018 the Trust enshrined basketball coach Norm Stewart, Boone Electric Cooperative and the late Eliot and Muriel Battle to the Hall of Fame.
Paris has been on the BCHS Trust board for two years. She enjoyed a successful thirty-year career as an executive in the financial, advertising and technology industries, before following her desire to be an executive coach. Carolyn provides consulting and coaching for clients worldwide. She supports leaders in attaining new levels of results, power and satisfaction.
The Center is open to the public free of charge Wednesday through Saturday, 11:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.,
Sunday 12:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
About the Boone County History & Culture Center
The Boone County History & Culture Center is a 28-year-old venue. The Center’s main building is always admission-free and owned and operated by the 94-year-old Boone County Historical Society and includes a museum store, a genealogical library and the Montminy Art Gallery.
