About the Things That Matter Speaker Series
We aim to produce a series that is inclusive of all voices and creates a safe space for all to feel heard. The intent is to broaden community understanding of tough topics by sharing important stories. Subjects will include anything deserving thoughtful consideration by Boone Countians—everything from art and literature to social issues and natural history.
Things That Matter was conceived by Chris Campbell, executive director of the Boone County Historical Society, and Dr. Victoria Hubbell, BCHS board director.
