Visions Artist Talk + Q&A

About

Contemporary Asian American Visions Artist Talk + Q&A

Join us for the Visions Artist Talk + Q&A event. This special program features three artists from the Visions exhibition—Ruiqi Zhang, Lynn Kim (University of Missouri), and Naomi Lear (Columbia College)—who will share insights into their creative practices, cultural influences, and the works they have on view in the gallery. Each artist will give a 15-minute presentation followed by a 5-minute audience Q&A, offering visitors the opportunity to engage directly with the artists and learn more about their artistic processes. Visions is the first Asian art exhibition of its kind at the Montminy Art Gallery, bringing together eight artists whose work reflects cultural traditions from China, Korea, and Japan while engaging with contemporary artistic dialogue.
