September's Family Event Coincides with Heritage Festival!

The annual Heritage Festival is a huge two-day event that spans all of Nifong Park, organized by the City of Columbia in partnership with the Boone County History & Culture Center.

This month our family activities will be on the veranda of the main History & Culture Center building. (Look for the red-roofed building and then signs on the north side!) This is a come and go event, so stay as little or long as you like.

For more detailed information on the activities offered at the event, check our Facebook events

A special guest organization will join us on Saturday with river inspired activities!!! Stay tuned for the big announcement!

While you are here, be sure to visit our historic homes and test your investigation skills with the scavenger hunt of The Great Flood exhibition.
